What is PayID?

PayID® lets your payers pay you directly from their banking app or online banking. All they need is an email PayID, which is based on their existing DEFT reference number (DRN):

[Payer’s existing DRN]@deft.com.au – e.g. 12345678@deft.com.au

Important: Before you let payers know they can use PayID to make DEFT payments, you’ll need to make sure that PayID is enabled for your DRNs.

Do I need to enable PayID for DEFT payments?
