What is third party authority?

You can provide authority to access your accounts to people in your life such as your partner, a family member or a financial intermediary like a financial adviser or an accountant.

Different levels of third party account authorities are available depending on the account you hold. Please refer to our terms and conditions for the definitions and what they’ll be authorised to do.

It’s important to remember that third party authorities allow significant access to your account(s) that would normally be limited to you and/or other account holder(s) only. For your protection, you may want to make further enquiries to understand the scope and powers provided under third party authorities before allowing such access.
